In our pursuit to build visual-based applications layered on the Vyew platform,
we chose a customer supported project that would challenge previous notions of
limitations placed on browser apps. Themosaicdesigner.com is a powerful browser-based
2D/3D CAD/CAM design tool that allows users to design an entire room with stone/glass
mosaic, wood, paint, furniture and cabinets; arrange all the elements in a 2D plan
and elevation view; then navigate the scene in a realistic 3D environment.
With one click -- construction documents are generated at the manufacturing
plant where each order is custom built and shipped.
